Dec. 2008 - The U.S. House of Representatives awards Input a 330,000 page scanning contract

The House of Representatives needed 330,000 pages of committee reports scanned and made full text searchable, and they needed the work done quickly. The project was started in Dec. 2008 and was completed by mid-January 2009. Each collection of documents was made individually searchable and the users can also select multiple collections and search within them as a group. The searching capability also includes the ability to do multiple sub-searches (nested queries). This allows the user to refine their search parameters after the initial search and search only within the document found during the initial search. The ability to "drill down" using this technique helps the users quickly locate the document(s) they need - within seconds!
